CFDs are leveraged. Most retail traders lose money, and you can lose more than you deposit.

Trading psychology

Most account blow-ups are behaviour, not analysis.

Common traps

Revenge trading after a loss, moving a stop further away, adding to losers, and over-trading out of boredom.

Rules before money

Write down when you'll enter, where the stop goes, how much you risk and when you stop for the day. Follow it on small size first.

Keep a journal

Record each trade with the reason, the result and how you felt. Patterns show up within weeks. The trading journal keeps it on your device.

Demo has limits

A demo teaches the platform. It doesn't teach how losing real money feels. Move to small real size before you scale.
